The Zillertal 3000 Ski and Glacier World is one of the top-performing ski resorts in the Alps. With a lift capacity of 98,840 people per hour, you ski without waiting times. The Hintertux Glacier is located at an altitude of up to 3,250 meters and is Austria's only glacier with year-round operation.

Cross-country skiing

On the Luggi Gredler cross-country trail

Perfectly groomed cross-country trails amidst impressive natural scenery. For beginners as well as for the athletically ambitious. Classic or skating, short loop or long excursion.

The Luggi-Gredler Trail runs from Vorderlanersbach to Madseit and offers both classic tracks and a skating track through the quiet winter landscape of the Tuxertal valley.

1.5km

A new trail has been created directly in Hintertux, ideal if you want to refine your technique or simply do a short loop.

Guests with a valid Tux-Finkenberg Ticket can use the shuttle (Line 4104) free of charge as a feeder service between Mayrhofen and Hintertux.

Cross-country skiing equipment can be rented at all local sports shops and ski rentals. If you want to learn the technique, book a course at one of the local ski schools.

From leisurely groomed valley trails to challenging summit tours. The Tuxertal offers an unforgettable experience for all types of winter hikers. As a reward, rustic huts and panoramic restaurants with Zillertal specialties await.

Sommerbergalm – Bichlalm – Hintertux

7 km, approx. 2 hrs, 560 m descent. One-way tour with gondola access from Sommerbergalm. One of the most beautiful winter hikes in the region, with a refreshment stop at the Bichlalm.

Eggalm

Challenging winter hiking trail with breathtaking panoramic views. As a reward, the panoramic restaurant on the Eggalm awaits with Zillertal specialties. Also easily accessible by cable car.

Sommerbergalm

A more leisurely route to a rustic Tyrolean alpine hut. Partially groomed and cleared, ideal for peaceful winter days in untouched nature.
